Tribes second album, ‘Wish To Scream’ due for release 20th May/Live Dates

Tribes returned late 2012, only 11 months after their debut album ‘Baby’, with a free download of ‘Wrapped Up In A Carpet’. Intended as a taster for fans of their upcoming second album, the track got an amazing response and ended up being picked up by radio, including Radio 1, 6 Music and an XFM evening playlist add Their second album, ‘Wish To Scream’, which was recorded at the famed Sound City Studio in LA, where Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ and Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumours’ were made, is due for release on Island on May 20. Tribes are back with new single "Danchall" and second album ‘Wish to Scream’/Live Dates

Tribes are back with their second album, ‘Wish To Scream’ on May 20. Preceded by the single ‘Dancehall’ on 20th May, which follows the instant anthem of first single ‘How The Other Half Live’ , released just 11 months after their debut album ‘Baby’. ‘Dancehall’, a hands in the air festivals classic in waiting, kicks off the upcoming second album ‘Wish To Scream’, which was produced by Kevin Augunas and recorded at the famed Sound City Studio in LA, where Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ and F leetwood Mac’s ‘Rumours’ were brought to life. Tribes new single ‘Corner of an English Field’ /Tour Dates

January 2012 saw the eagerly awaited release of Tribes debut album ‘Baby’, critically acclaimed across the board the LP went straight into the UK’s Top 20. The Camden quartet are pleased to announce the release of n ew single and stand-out album track ‘Corner of an English Field’ on April 2nd through Island Records. A sure-fire Summer festival anthem in the making, the track is already a massive hit live. Currently on the UK live circuit with Two Door Cinema Club, Metronomy and Azealia Banks for the NME Awards Tour, the band will be back in Europe for another stint this month, followed by a pre-SXSW US tour. Its non-stop touring for them when they land back on British soil for their own headline tour of the UK throughout April and May. (full dates below). January 16th 2012 see’s the eagerly awaited release of Tribes debut album ‘Baby’ on Island Records, with the single ‘ We Were Children ’ on the 9th .Taped over six intense weeks in Liverpool with producer Mike Crossey, these songs have been honed to perfection during an odyssey of couch surfing and tearing the arse out of sweaty, shoebox-sized venues. Like with so many great debut albums, ‘Baby’ is the culmination of the band’s own lives up to this point.
